With a little time and creativity, and the fact that I eat my lunches mostly alone…

I have decided that I love eggs as much as w. She’s done amazing things with eggs and all I’ve done so far is fry, boil, steam them.
I vaguely remember her saying last night ‘let’s go grocery shopping tomorrow.’ Perhaps she had one beer too many.

For some color contrast, I decided to drizzle some La Yu (Chili Oil).

I kinda enjoy moving food around for a decent shot, not that I know what the hell I am doing. Unlike w I only spent two short weeks in an open kitchen making sandwiches, cooking pasta, weighing chicken pieces and yes, also sorting out salad leaves.
I don’t have a fancy name either: Porridge cooked with dried scallops, with fried egg and assorted preserved vegetables.
Last night’s dinner, was an abundance of prawns left over from last week’s purchase from Jurong Fishery Port, well kept in the freezer.

Nothing remotely artistic about this shot, one meat one vege $4? I was struggling with the overly bright flash of the Canon Ixus 75. it was sundown by the time dinner was ready…

An sms from my flatmate (I left quite a bit for him to eat):
“Hey, it was so good i gobbled them up. No
supper for you now. broke another new
year resolution by over eating …”
Spunkymonkee is grateful for times alone, chilling is a great way to live.
