Ouch &%*$**

I whacked my nose so hard I teared.

What a freak accident. The simple task of putting the macbook into my bag while sitting down, with the bag on my lap and the bag being filled with other stuff therefore I had to do a bit of pulling to make space for my macbook. I pulled hard as I was in a hurry and my hand slipped. Straight for my nose. Ouch.

In the last few months I’ve hurt my baby toes a few times, running into the legs of the couch in my new home. The first time it happened I sustained a tiny cut on the back of my toe.

What a klutz I have turned out to be. I’m glad to still be in one piece.

Spunkymonkee is grateful for the one with the good heart.

Merry Christmas Babe

My best present this year, a Canon Ixus 75!

Frangipani

I love it, this is my FIRST digital camera! I’ve been borrowing from different people all these years, Bunnee, my brother Jeff and my Mom. Yes my Mom got her digital camera before I did.

Fuzzy

I love that fuzzy feeling you get when you see that someone special.

That electrical charge that runs through your body when your eyes meet.

I love how time stops when you close your eyes as you lock your lips.

I could go on, but I wonder how long these feelings last and if they could be treated the same as rechargeable batteries.

Zap zap?

Hungry.. it’s a country?

Classic case of ‘god is fair’.

iCamera

Life without a camera.

To tell stories with just words is a challenge sometimes as I always prefer a visual fest, a show and tell. I probably preferred comics to books when I was a little girl.

My Sony K750i broke into 3 pieces. One very angry/frustrated/vein snapping/eye rolling day, I completely lost it. I had wanted the other party to stop talking, it would have been simpler to just hang up but my temper got the better of me and I threw the phone onto the carpeted floor, like really hard. In that state of mind on that day I didn’t care that I did not have a voucher to redeem a new phone with M1, or that I was broke and could not afford another camera-phone. Or that I really liked taking random pictures of clouds and trees during the sunset.

Hmm.

Borrowing my mom’s camera just wasn’t the same. I hung on to it for so long I felt bad she couldn’t take picture of her weekly karaoke sessions.

On the flip side, I find that I remember places and things better without a camera.

My phone has since been put back together by Colin, who was at the scene. It still works for calls and smses but the camera function is no more.
