Fructus Lycii

It’s so nice to add them to soup.

Tonight’s dinner was Pork Ribs with Carrot, Tomato & Radish Soup. Made fragrant with dried scallops and Fructus Lycii. Yeah those little dried wolfberries we call Qi Zi. I used to love fishing them out of the soups my mom made.

Yum.

Here’s a guy who REALLY LOVES EM.

I like making soup. It’s a matter of throwing everything into the pot. There wasn’t any nice meat to buy today, so I decided soup would be the perfect lazy Sunday dinner.

My flatmate came home with some fresh Yong Tau Foo. We chucked them into the soup.

Dinner was fantastic.

Simple yet satisfying.
