Sometimes it’s so hard to look at yourself in a brutally honest way.
Sometimes it takes the one who loves you the most to show you what you’ve done.
That what you do had hurt someone, and you didn’t even know it.
Sometimes that hurts cos you never thought your actions or words would create such impact.
That what seems normal to you might not seem normal to others.
That you have been conditioned so, through all your formative years, to behave in the way you always have.
Sometimes it takes the person who loves you the most to be brutally honest.
Sometimes the truth hurts.
Sometimes that’s what you need, an elbow nudge to remind you.
You are not alone in this world.
