Dinner for One

Ingredients:
Chicken Wings ($6 from Cold Storage)
Dried Mushrooms -soak beforehand(Chinese Medical Hall)
Minced Garlic, lots of it
Shredded Ginger
Spring Onions
Chicken Stock
Chinese Cooking Wine
Sesame Oil
White Pepper
Cooking Oil

Heat oil in wok, fry garlic and ginger till frangrant. Add chicken wings (you may marinade them beforehand but yours truly just wanted a quick dinner) and fry away.
Generous amounts of chinese cooking wine, some sesame oil, fry a little and add chicken stock. I used the home-made chicken stock from the last time Sharon made chicken rice, store bought ones will do as well.
Add mushrooms, which you have to soak in hot water for about an hour. (Ness, you can replace with other mushrooms if you want cos I know you hate shitake..)
Finish off by adding a small bowl of cornflour + water+some soy sauce to thicken up the sauce.
Throw in spring onions, white pepper to taste.
Lower heat and cover wok,let it simmer at low heat for 10mins.
